Australia's official nominee for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2027 Academy Awards
In a quiet convent in the northern Philippines, Sister Yolanda devotes herself to guiding her community and mentoring a young novice. When she witnesses a disturbing incident at a hospital, her search for answers draws her towards a dangerous conspiracy involving powerful figures determined to keep it hidden. Ruby Ruiz leads this atmospheric debut from Filipino-Australian filmmaker James J. Robinson, a slow-burning drama that tests faith against conscience and asks what it takes to speak up.
